To go even further, and even higher, a long flight is offered. (Between 25 and 35 minutes) Your desires will determine the choice of the program: this may be a small piloting class that allows you to take control of the aircraft, a distance flight for a large aerial ballad above Salève and some aerobatic tricks like ‘Wing-over’ or the engaged ‘spiral’ will conclude this exceptional flight. Upon your arrival you are taken care of by a free flight instructor. During 1h30 he takes care of you in order to satisfy your curiosity and to help you live your personalised experience of the discovery of the paragliding flight. On landing your pilot will give you your air christening certificate and a drink will be offered to you. Tuesday to Sunday: 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm

FAQ

Do you have fear of heights in paragliding?

This is the most common question but the answer is simple, fear of heights does not exist in paragliding. It is necessary to know that fear of heights can exist only if one has a reference to the ground (whether horizontal, vertical or any type), and this is no longer the case in the air. Some people may have an apprehension before the flight, and this is quite normal, but it is not much and anyway it is quickly forgotten once in flight.

How do we keep up?

To maintain a paragliding flight, the pilot must operate zones of thermal ascension. These are zones of air warmer than the surrounding air and rising. In summer, a flight can last several times depending on the conditions and feeling of the pilot.

Do you need a special physical condition for a paragliding flight ?

Tandem paragliding is not a physical sport. The take-off and landing phases are smooth and the flight is a simple peaceful stroll. The only moments where it will take may be run a little are takeoff and landing, and again. However, for people with heavy body size, it will be necessary to be dynamic during take-off.

Are there any indications of the use of two-seater paragliders ?

Yes, there are some contraindications to the practice of paragliding in tandem. People with heart failure, epileptics, and a few other special cases. If in doubt, do not hesitate to contact us.

Is there a minimum or maximum age for free flight ?

There is no minimum or maximum age for practicing however the minimum legal age for this to pass the free flight certificate is 16 years.
